Chernivtsi International Airport, new terminal

UVT GROUP implemented the concept of the new terminal of Chernivtsi International Airport. We have offered the customer an interesting technological solution that improves logistics and speeds up the passing of passengers and at the same time conserves thre building space.

The task for the concept developing  contained the term that the new terminal would serve 200 passengers per hour at international flights and 200 passengers – at domestic ones. Our solution has met all necessary requirements, in particular ICAO, and allows to expand the terminal in the future without changing the main technological line.

The architecture of the building emphasizes the local features of Chernivtsi- part of the facade and roof repeats the tile pattern of the outstanding Chernivtsi Yuri Fedkovych University. The project involves the creation of spacious premises, but balanced in size, so that visitors would feel comfortably there. At the same time, the building of the new terminal is not too large compared to its counterparts.

We understand the importance of cost-saving during the construction. The concept provided technical and economic indicators, preliminary assessment of the project budget. We hope that the city of Chernivtsi will be able to implement this ambitious project along with the reconstruction of the airport  runway.
